"Extra Helpings" Community Food Buying Club: Stretches food-buying dollars by offering nutritious meals at lower-than-retail- cost! No age, location, or income limits. Sponsored by the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
Emergency Food Pantry: Available at the Center for low income families in the South Glens Falls School District; Monday-Friday, 9:30AM-11:30AM & 12:30PM-2:30PM.
Clothing Thrift Store: Open every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30AM-2PM. Clothing for all ages, shoes boots, coats and much more! Our Thrift store is run on donations, which can be dropped off at our Center, Monday-Friday, 9AM-2:00PM. Items must be in good condition.
Dial-A-Bus Service: Scheduled transportation to supermarkets, shopping malls, luncheons, pharmacies, banks, discount stores, and doctor's appointments for the disabled and senior citizens. The bus runs daily from 8:30AM-2:30PM, Monday-Friday.
Outreach Library: A large selection of current books and videos are available for community members to borrow.
Specialty Dinners: Join us the months of September, October, January, February, March, and April for our popular dinner. Bring your family, bring your friends and enjoy our delicious homemade meals and desserts. Adults $8.00, Children $4.00, under 5 Free. Dinners fall on the last Monday of the month, call for exact date and reservations, seats fill fast!
