Camp Moreau

An 8-week, summer day-camp for area youth ages 5-12 with no geographic requirements. Campers enjoy a summer of field trips, exercise and play, self-defense and nutrition classes, team building, and much more. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to go to summer camp, so we work to make sure that cost doesn’t prevent your child from attending.

Camp Moreau offers opportunities for teens aged 13-15 to volunteer as Camp Buddies, interacting with campers and supporting staff. Qualified and interested 16-year-olds who have been Camp Buddies get first consideration for paid camp staff positions. Camp Moreau operates in compliance with NYS Department of Children and Family Services regulations and is hosted at one of the South Glens Falls Central School District’s elementary school properties.

For information, contact Youth Programs Director, Jennifer at jabare@moreaucommunitycenter.org or 518-792-6007 x17.
