Emergency Food Pantry

Available for all in need in the South Glens Falls School District; Monday-Friday 9AM-3PM (closed 11:30AM-12:30PM).

Clothing Thrift Store

Open daily M-F from 10AM-2PM. Great deals! We are always in need of donations from the community of clothing and shoes.

Dial-A-Bus Service

Scheduled transportation to supermarkets, shopping malls, luncheons, pharmacies, banks, discount stores and doctor’s appointments for disabled and senior citizens. Bus runs Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-3:30PM. Entertaining and fun trips to various locations in the Capital District. Call the Center for our latest trip.

Saratoga County Satellite Offices

The Center serves as satellite offices for Saratoga County WIC programs, NYS Family Health Plus Insurance, all available by appointment.

Outreach Library

Wide selection of books for community members to borrow. Donations from the community always accepted.

BINGO

Every Thursday night at St. Michael’s Church (80 Saratoga Ave, SGF)! $1400 prize give-away, 2 split pot games, progressive game, bell jar, and lots of great food! Doors open at 5PM, BINGO starts at 7PM. Call 792-6007 for more information. 18+ Only

Specialty Dinners and Memorial Day Parade Cookout

Popular get-togethers for family and friends. Enjoy homemade meals and desserts! Call the center for dates, times and menus.

Paul Schultz Memorial Golf Tournament

Held at Airway Meadows Golf Club. 4 person scramble. Many prizes! Entry fee includes, golf, cart, breakfast and dinner! Call us for date and registration form!

Meeting Place

Community meeting space available for local businesses and service organizations. Available also for special events such as birthday, anniversary and retirement parties and bridal showers. Free for not-for-profit organizations! If you would like to hold a private party the cost is $100 the first hour, $35.00 each additional hour. Call for space availability. Room capacity is 200.

"The November Place to Be!" Craft showcase by talented crafters. Check out the Cookie Walk and food court for lunch!

Annual Garage Sale

Look forward to our Annual Garage Sale made possible by community donations! Your donations are accepted for this event one week prior to the sale. Call the Center for more dates and details!

Family Halloween Event

Fun for all! Bounce house, costume contest, children’s games, cider and donuts and other tricks and treats!

Holiday Caring Program

Through support and donations from the friends of the Center, families in the South Glens Falls School District are provided traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, along with clothing and toys for Christmas. This program is funded through the support and donations of our community.

Information and Referrals

Information and assistance with the School Tax Relief (STAR) program, HEAP, food stamps, and Head Start. The Center is also a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site.
