Osteo-Buster Class: low impact program used mild repetitive movements, allowing most everyone to participate. Leg and hand weights are included as strength increases. Held twice weekly at the Center under the direction of the Saratoga County RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program).
Day and Extended Trips
A wonderful way to meet new people and see now things without the hassles of driving and planning. We travel on deluxe motor coaches and are always sensitive to the needs of seniors. Day trips are arranged to see Broadway shows, enjoy dinner and entertainment, visit casinos, tour attractions, take a cruise, and go to the fair. Our overnight trips have ranged from one night to our longest trip of 19 days/20 nights.
Educational Opportunities
Computer Classes: Free, six-week class for beginners meets once a week for 1-1/2 hours. Two seniors per instructor.
Defensive Driving Classes: Sponsored by AARP, classes are held on the last Thursday of the month, from 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Participants save 10% or more on their car insurance for three years (no classes in July or August).
